Atelier des échos
Listen to a sequence of sounds and rests, then repeat it on the numbered pads. Practice mode lets you learn the patterns before playing in rhythm.
Repeat the pattern you hear; for a rest, wait in Rhythm mode or choose Silence in Practice mode.
Choose a challenge and click Start challenge, then repeat the sounds with buttons 1 to 4.
How to play — Atelier des échos
Your goal
Listen to a pattern of sounds and rests, then reproduce it on the four numbered pads.
How a game unfolds
- Choose a challenge and Rhythm or Practice mode, then press Start challenge.
- In Rhythm mode, hear the pattern twice, then wait through the four-beat countdown.
- On your turn, tap the matching number in the middle of each sound beat. Do not tap during a rest.
- In Practice mode, one beat is presented at a time with no timer: choose the sound you heard or press Silence. Waiting does not submit a rest in this mode.
- Finish all 4 or 8 beats. In Rhythm mode, a third mistake ends the attempt; in Practice, correct each answer to continue.
Controls
- Click or tap pads 1–4 / keys 1–4
- Play the matching sound.
- Silence in Practice mode
- Submit a silent beat; in Rhythm, leave that beat untouched instead.
- Space or Esc / Pause
- Pause or resume.
- Restart
- Begin the challenge again.
How to win
Finish the entire pattern. Rhythm mode allows two mistaken beats; the third loses. Practice can complete a challenge but does not produce a rhythm score.
A starting example
Challenge 1 in Practice mode: after each sound, choose 1, then 2, then 3, then 4. This first pattern has no rests.
Tip
In Rhythm mode, tap between 25% and 75% of the beat. A wrong, missing, early, late or extra tap counts as one mistake for that beat.
