How to play — Jardins en cascade
Your goal
Build channels to water every crop up to its target in no more than four irrigations.
How a game unfolds
- Find the two sources above the grid and each crop’s growth counter.
- Choose a channel: straight down, down-left, down-right or fork, then click a soil cell. You may place or replace at most two channels before each irrigation.
- Connect sources to crops. Water moves down one row per cell; a crop consumes one unit, grows by one up to its target and passes the rest straight down. Unchannelled soil and rocks lose water.
- Check Flow preview, then press Irrigate. This uses one of your four available irrigations.
- Change channels between irrigations. Existing channels remain in place; you have four irrigations in total.
Controls
- Click or tap a shape, then a soil cell
- Choose and place a channel.
- 1–4 / Tab, then arrow keys and Enter
- Choose a shape / navigate and place.
- Irrigate or I / Flow preview
- Use one irrigation / inspect the next flow without using it.
- Undo or U / Restart garden or R
- Reverse one action, including irrigation / reset the garden.
- P / Esc
- Pause or resume / close a panel or resume.
How to win
Every crop must reach its displayed target after an irrigation. If any crop is short after the fourth irrigation, the attempt is lost.
A starting example
Garden 1: choose Straight down and place it directly below both sources, at row 0, columns 1 and 3. Irrigate twice: both crops reach 2/2.
Tip
The game numbers coordinates from 0. A fork divides water down-left and down-right; fully grown crops still consume one water unit.
